University of Newcastle (UoN) Surveying Program Support

UoN has significantly reduced funding that supports part time, external lectures who teach surveying courses ‘SURV3930 Land Boundary Definition’ and ‘SURV4720 Land Valuation’.

Surveying students undertaking the critical courses such as SURV3930 Land Boundary Definition and SURV4720 Land Valuation and the surveying profession at large.

The intended outcome of funding is to sustain and enhance the quality of surveying education at the University of Newcastle by securing funding for the above courses, which are critical in preparing students to meet the academic and professional requirements to become registered surveyors.

To sustain and enhance the quality of surveying education which will produce highly skills surveyors aiding the current surveyor shortage.
